‘How often should we celebrate life? I would say every day, or even more often!
Look at what we have around us. Family, friends, plenty to eat, plenty to drink, things to entertain us, so many beautiful places and pleasures to share, there are so many reasons for joy.’

Nino Sarabutra is a big fan of fun. Like many Thais, she can always spot joy in small things or big circumstances. A core theme of her work has been to focus on human emotions and the beauty of being alive. This exhibition brings together 3 installations that explore this theme.

‘My work is a reflection of what I think about life and being alive. With every day busy with day to day tasks, we can forget to look and appreciate what we have in front of us. I want to remind myself and my audience that we should enjoy every day, living life and enjoying all its different aspects. We should not take life too seriously. We should make today wonderful and celebrate it because we can.’
In ‘EAT | DRINK | LOVE – Celebrating Life’ Nino has presented a wall of 201 hearts, 365 illuminated drink bottles, 4,000 flying butterflies and, on the 12 meter long dining table set ready for a celebratory dinner, Nino’s ‘Black Ripple’ dining series.
