What are the hidden intentions behind the gifting of blue and white China? Having seen so many of these vases in many public and state run homes, palaces, temples and museums around the world, Nino is quizzical of their hidden intentions and individual history. ‘Most of the porcelain vases featured the similar designs, but the true objectives of gifting them to someone are mysterious. We don’t know what was the deal behind each of them.’

Nino recreated traditional blue and white vases, individually hand painted with traditional design on one side and with her interpretation of the possible expectations on the other.
